when you have unwanted appendages on a figure which you really want gone..
what is the best way of sanding it down?
really fine sanding paper, a dremel?
    please enlighten me =)

[edit] the figures I want sanded down are the rubbery star wars/indy jones/marvel legens figures [/edit]

If it is the rubbery parts, you could just a exacto knife to cut through it and then trim up the area with the same knife.

if its hard plastic, I typically have at it with a dremel and stone until I get it nearly all gone, and then use sandpaper (working my way up in grit) to get it silky smooth in the end.
