I'll be there with a camera. Not sure if I'm gonna walk around with a laptop though so someone else will probably be able to upload pics/videos quicker than I would.

They can have quite a bit, actually. You can create scenes using stand-ins that have roughly the same "skeleton" and then switch them for the real models and it'll work fine.

Plus don't believe they spend months on modeling a character. It's a process that lasts mere days, it's modeling a lot of stuff that takes time. Assembling a trailer with a dozen characters is not that much of a problem, in fact a whole prototype episode can be made in less than a month. In fact, for a japanese studio once in full production the standard is finish one episode per week.

And the models probably merely weren't polished enough to be shown. Don't believe they hadn't started on it. If they're already having polished artwork like that Bumblebee they already had rough models.

Polygon Pictures and Digitalscape were behind the Modeling and Animation. They took time to make sure everything is perfect. We'll see on 22nd then :)

Damn. Jumped out of my seat when I saw that header on the front page. Then I read the actual story. :\

Aw well, leaks are coming. It'll be harder this time around, but it's coming.

I know what you mean, at least this is enough of a head's up for folks going to SDCC to plan to get to the TF panels, and for the rest of us at home to know when to expect info.

They were talking about toys and they had begun working on them. One of them, Archer I think, made reference to being proud of the design work he did on Bulkhead's toy. It was a passing reference and not everyone picked up on it.

Veeeeeeeeerryyy interested in seeing the character designs for this show. I'm excited to see what they're gonna do for Starscream and Soundwave. I'm not even sure what to expect at this point. D:

all i know is prime better look bad as exp if using CGI please no cheap flash themed looking CGI crap! CGI tv shows make me soo nervous hopefully it will be a half way decent show and the designs will look awsome.
