I had an idea for a fanfic awhile ago about the typical transformers war with a twist, all the classic transformers are based of ancient warriors. However after time I lost the want and motivation to work on this project, but not without giving me concept art. Samurai Soundwave's undrawn altmode is somewhat of a communications half-trak.

Kinda very awesome! I really dig his proportions, nice and solid. For your first coloring, this is not bad, not at all. All I can really say is do some range of color within the flats. Also some highlighting would be a nice touch by doing a very transparent white. I know I probably don't make much sense, but experiment. That being said, great job!

Thanks. I see what you mean about highlights and what not. I've been doing some experimenting lately.

A really cool take on Soundwave! I have to say, your first attempt at colouring is way better than my first attempt at colouring....

interesting idea but I'd be tempted to go with a more classic chest and maybe ditch the dish on this shoulder

    Why thank you.

Believe me, I love the blocky chest, but I wanted to try something different. And the dish is a place holder for the shoulder cannon I had trouble drawing.

    Ha, thanks.
