Tears of joy. And I hope they found a new voice actor awesome enough to voice Aku (his original voice actor was the late Mako).
That's an awesome poster. They could get Greg Baldwin to voice Aku. He was a student of his after all and he took over with voicing Iroh in The Last Airbender when he passed.
I can't believe this is actually happening! One of my all time favorite series is making a comeback! I can't wait for this!
Just imagine how crazy the entire fan base must be going right now... They're finally going to get the ending they always wanted. I only watched a few episodes of Samurai Jack during its run, but I'd be perfectly willing to start now. Do any of you think the comics are still going to count?
I was wondering about that too. I think they will be treated as part of his quest of going back to his time like almost of the episodes of the show. And the big question is will Jack end up being King Jack and assemble an army consists of his allies to fight Aku and his forces? Edit: There's one thing that I almost forgot, will they show some gore since the new season will be aired in Adult Swim?
The comics kept things fairly similar to the show: episodic and epic, and its conclusion was the beginning of Jack and Aku's final showdown, so I think the comic will still count.
Awesome. Phil LaMarr better be coming back, too. Interesting that it'll be on Adult Swim -- hopefully thematically, it will be similar to the original show, but perhaps get away with a bit more violence...
