Premium Jazz is shiny, compared to the flat colored original. Barricade's black is the same. Both have additional detailing.

You mean shiny-er. Regular Jazz was shiny with a touch of metallic swirl.

Compared to regular Jazz, much more shiny. Relatively between the two figures, regular Jazz was more towards the flat side. Whatever shade they used on Premium Jazz is pretty spot on compared to the metallic silver you see on the real cars. Light shines off it real purty.

Neato. Did they give Frenzy the metallic treatment?

I don't have regular Barricade Frenzy by my side at the moment, but Premium Frenzy is pretty much the same. No shiny paint job for him.

    Wtf?

Gah. They're gonna make me buy Jazz again after all, aren't they?

    How orange-vs.-gold is Salvage's accent color in-person?

I can't really tell from the photos.
Do the Premium figures have anything on them to indicate that they are "Premium". It looks like they have a silver line by the name instead of a red one.

Premium Jazz's vehicle mode is very, very purty in person.

Salvage's accent color...well...it's realy inbetween. Almost copper in color.

Name bar is metallic silver. The swatch above the bubble that use to state "movie figure", "from the video game", "Allspark Power" is now "Premium Series". Also in metallic silver.

I wouldn't count toynk as a mass U.S. release indication.

They order through Hasbro. They received the Premium Leaders about a week before Meijer stores did and right around the same time BBTS did (another online reference).

It's not a mass retail release yet (nor does the front page post suggest that), but I think it's an indication that the shipments are being made now to various warehouses for stocking in stores very soon.
