Which version of the Movie Dropkick mold do you think is better? It comes down to personal preference really but I'd like to see what everyone thinks.

Salvage, not simply because he's red; but because he's a great Wreck-Gar tribute.

    Blah.
    Salvage looks ugly.
Dropkick works well as an Insecticon homage.

I'd go with Dropkick, Salvage's paint doesn't highlight the movie-esque details very well imho.

Dropkick. That not-so-subtle glaring shade of red does not do my eyes well.

The dropkick mold was one of the best deluxe molds released for the movie and quite frankly one of the best pickup transformers I have ever held. So which ever one you pick, you can't go wrong. As for which version I prefer, it has to be Salvage. I love the red paint job on the old retro style truck and the nod to Sanford & Son seals the deal for me. This was a fun repaint of a great mold.

It was a Sanford and Son homage actually.

My personal choice was Dropkick. He makes a great insecticon homage, and the mold suits a D'con more then a bot imo anyway. I also love that oversized, excessivly gaudy Decepticon logo paint scheme of his. On top of that, his bio is hilarious.

I passed on Dropkick a couple of times, but I'm tempted to pick up Salvage. Not really sure why, Salvage just looks better to me.

It doesn't matter which version you get, just make sure you get the mold. It really is a great mold.

I'd say Salvage, if only because it uses the Autobot head for that specific drone from the game. In the games, the Decepticon version has a single lens face like Dreadwing, Payload and Swindle. So that always bugged me, the fact that Dropkick had an Autobot head.

Also, the toy just looks better in red, I think. And the Sanford & Son homage is too awesome to not like.

Gotta go with Dropkick on this one. Salvage just doesn't do it for me. Great mold though.
