Of course! I'm much fairer with my critique of kibble. I try to think about whether or not the kibble NEEDS to be there and most of the time it doesn't. By textbook definition Seeker wings are kibble, but they're so essential the term "kibble" doesn't seem to really fit. Usage of that term in any way implies that they don't need to be there, but are there because they're character essential, but you NEED to have them there otherwise they aren't X character. For me kibble would be stuff that is obnoxious or just...there, like Classics voyager Prime's cab sides, and Classics voyager Megatron's wings. Prime FE Arcee's handlebars and windshield, and RID Wheeljack's arm windshields would be the kind of stuff I'd call Kibble. It doesn't need to be there and is inaccurate to the portrayal of the character.
Especially if the Vehicle kibble is incapable of going where it's supposed to go on robot mode, so they fake it out and then you can't see the fake out without seeing the vehicle version. Like Wheeljack.

I modded mine so the airplane could be removed. Now he's not a transformer, he's a robot that gets deployed via super sonic jet.
Uni 2 Hound is great silhouette wise. Gen Darkmount/Skullgrin have interesting transformations and virtually no kibble. More like shoulder pads. Uni Cyclonus does it right, even if he has wonky altmode gappage. As a counter point, Figures that absolutely need a backpack: Shockwave, in almost every incarnation. He simply needs it to be complete.
I second this, and further nominate generations Scourge for the awesome wing-cape that manages to evoke the shell of G1 Scourge without being limited by it.
Eh, they look like purposeful "tread wing" armor to me, but hey. I'll toss in Generations WFC Soundwave. For a big 'ol box of a vehicle he sure loses any trace of kibble except those ass-wheels.
I don't mind backpack. Where else would Henkei Ratchet keep his fixing tools? Or Henkei Ironhide keep his whiskey? And where would Spike stand?
Well yeah, but not only is it supposed to be there, but it's pretty much made up of different parts that don't even go that way in plane mode. That's one of the thing I love about it. Also, you're totally right about the FE Prime, and dare I say that he looks really great from behind because of it.
