So anyone know how many units Highmoon has sold for Fall of Cybertron?
Seemingly not. Unless it's really good news we aren't likely to know. I hope it's doing well. I'm not having any problems finding games which is a good sign. It got pretty good reviews too.
Yeah. I remember reading somewhere depending on sales and what not that they would consider a sequel. And while its really early to be thinking of a sequel I cant help myself
I'd say it's safe to assume a sequel.
I hope it sold well, I personally love this game and I hope it has the high sales that it deserves.
+1 for increasing my optimism.
You'll see them here when they are ready.
My only real complaint is the game felt way too short. Feel like I only got half a game this go around. I didn't time it, so it could have been just because I was enjoying it so much. Does anyone know what the single player experience times in at on Fall of Cybertron? 6 hours? More / Less?
Well look at it this way, lots of people I know went out and bought the game because it appealed to them, not because it was Transformers, or because it was a shooter, various different situations. So if this game can appeal to a wide range of people it's safe to say it will most likely be selling well.
There are more chapters in Fall than War. At worst I'd say they are the same length. I know it felt quite long to me but I spread it out over a few days.
As much as I ADORE the art direction of the Transformers' Cybertronian forms in Fall and War, I think it's about time we see the story move to Earth and see some Human Vehicle forms and battles on this new planet.
It'll be a challenge I'm sure, but it would be soooo awesome if done right.
More chapters =/= game length. I think WfC is a longer game. I hammer out the campaign pretty fast since I wanted to get it done and get into multiplayer, and even though that there are more chapters, the overall length has been shortened.
Short games aren't bad games, but I do wish FoC was a bit longer.
Well, all the levels in FOC are quality, though, unlike in WFC. Also, I wouldnt be entirly sure that FOC truly is shorter that WFC, FOC is different in its presentation style, so its hard to tell without actually timing it.
It would be the best so far if done JUST right, I'd like it to bring a new idea where they have the ability to reform their vehicle without reformatting so they can retain abilities, like the vehicle hover, or the nitro boost.
I feel the opposite, High Moon have done a fantastic job of creating Cybertron, and to leave it so soon is a shame really..I can't see human cities looking as great as the fascinating glowing high-tech machine planet.
HMS is going to do what G1 did, but better (they're off to a good start), so what's everyone worried about?
Shockwave is going to fix Cybertron and the Space Bridge in everyone's absence. He's going to end up contacting Megatron and Megatron is going to answer the call. It may not be the next game, but it's going to happen.
I'm more interested in finding out how the Dinobots are going to playlist. Will they arrive on Earth, battle the Insecticons and fall into stasis and awake after those on the Ark and Nemesis? Or will they crash Shockwave's party and use the Space Bridge for themselves and arrive on Earth at present time WITH Sludge and the Insecticons right behind them.
In regards to game length, Matt said its about 10 hours, but noted that everyone has varying skills, and let's not forget the game has three different difficulties. Personally, I found WFC to be more difficult. Nothing in FOC is as difficult as Omega Supreme or Trypticon. Missions ending due to your character dying or that of your partner's may have made WFC a little frustrating or harder for some too.
Agreed. The game needs to be a little bit more challenging. And in a fun way, not like "GOD DAMN IT I'll try later", like Trypticon, or in a way that ruins the whole mission for you, such as the timed throw-a-barrel parts of Grimlock's level.
And inb4 "WHY DOES THAT RUIN IT FOR YOU"
Anyway, one of the best pluses to Cybertron 3 they could make is challenging parts that are fun.
It's nice to know that I wasn't the only one that had a hard time doing this I must have screwed this form of play up five times before getting it to work for me
It's not really hard for me, but it always makes me all worried that I'll fail. D:
This totally, the multiplayer is underated my opinion, it is really good
