Anyone digging it? Im having a hell of a time, it's quite addictive and tons to do.
Best GTA clone I've played so far. Just wish there was more music variety and it was'nt so thuggish. There's tons of cheat codes for rent junkies, but they block you from getting any achievments. TONS of F bombs and violence.

For one's on the fence , here's some of the side missions beside all the story ones

    -Racing
-Snatch - Where you steal ho's from pimps
-Escort- Pick up hookers and their customers and take them for sex rides while avoiding the paparazzi. Hear them do anal and stuff with goofy voice acting
-Drug Trafficking - Drive a drugman around town to his customers while keeping him safe from gang members & cops etc
-Insurance Fraud- Jump in front of cars for cash
    - demolition Derby - Drive around in a dome having to destroy a certain amount of cars with your car before time is up
    - Chop Shop- Checklists for cars that you need to track down and bring back. Like GTA's
-Mayhem- Cause a certain amount of city damage in a limited period of time
    - Hijacking- Hijack rampaging semi's etc
-Loan Shark- Get loans, pay em off. Hav'nt played this one yet
Tagging- Find all the hidden spots to spraypaint
    - Collecting - Find all the cd's and briefcases(?) scattered around the games cities.
    Like GTA's collectathon.

You're menu system has checklists for these, as well as an ipod for playing your fav tunes from the game ,cell phone for calling homies and more. Game also has a kickass mapping system. It does'nt have as much personality that GTA has though . IMO
Vice City made me feel like it was the 80's again. But the control system feels tighter .
And no more headaches from blurry graphics and fuzzy camera spins and it's neat to watch yourself do all this as the main character.

Will be a nice holdoff until Wii day :drunk

I'm completley addicted to it. I generally can't play games for more than an hour or so at a time without getting a headache but I've been pushing through it so hardcore. Mu;tiplayer is pretty fun too but they really need to fix the lag. Co Op was cool but only two levels and the carry the box one can be frustrating.

Insurance Fraud is by far my favorite activity.

Surprise surprise...it's good. And a lot of fun.

I love the SR aiming system. Being able to shoot through the windshield of a car and take people out is one of the best touches.

As is having to dodge the debri from something you blew up. :D

Since there's no new guides at Gamefaqs up yet, or for those who can't find the strat guide, here's some scans that may be of use

I want a 360 for this game. :(  It's a pity you can't drive bikes, boats or helicopters though.

The Hitman missions sucked. Some people don't like to spawn in where theyre supposed to. Luckily theres a thread at Gamefaqs that had a lot of people contributing so I was able to find them. I finished the final two chop shops just a few minutes ago (and screw them making me pay $90k for the Zenith and the Arsomething cars)

Also I got the Air Scourge achievement really easily. After beating all the hitman missions you get a Platiunum RPG at your cribs (free ammo) so I went to the Westside Rollerz crib and theres a balcony connected to the save/monies/guns room that has a spot where you can get on the roof. I just set up there where the FBI and cops couldn't get me and shot down chopper after chopper and when I ran out of ammo just hopped back onto the balcony and back in to resupply. The cops/fbi will make it into the house but theres generally only 2 or 3 to take care of and they never make it out on the balcony and can't hit you when you're on the roof.

I know whay tou mean with the spawn points, some spawn across town from where they're supposed too.

Thats a cool idea for the choppers. Ive been shooting down about 5 at a time (limited ammo) from the docks. Since they never chase me down the docks after blocking the entrance with a copcar.
Been having fun standing on cars while people drive them around. They keep freaking out and drive into stuff, but you hardly fall off. The game would be alot more fun if things didnt disappear. Making a defense barrier out of cars is kind of pointless and chasing a chop shop car just to watch it disappear in front of you is a little aggervating lol Just a small nitpick though

How did you kill SWAT John in the Hitman missions? Everytime I get 5 stars, he never shows up. Maybe Im not waiting long enough.

Im also trying to get the FBI ride for the chop shop, but need a better area since they ram the crap out of me. Might have to try it next door to a 'Forgive & Forget" .
Want to throw it in the garage before i turn it in. Not sure if it garage respawns like the others do once it's gone though.

Just found all 60 discs and tagged all the locations. That unlimited sprint is NICE.
Been playing around with Zombie Lin alot, even though she likes to F up my hitman missions since you cna only kill them with certain weapons.

This game is taking all my spare time, so much to do. Also stuck on the last Derby round but will nail it soon. My respect level is at 50

Oh yeah, getting the loan shark $200,000 achievment is a joke. I just stood in the light and kept pressing Y while borrowing then paying back without any moving until the Achievment announcement popped up.

John was in the first chopper the showed up. I sniped the two out of one side then the chopper spun and the third guy I hit was John. I never noticed the hits showed up with an icon on the mini map so I just drove around for days looking for some of the people.

For the FBI truck and Bill I just hung out at the airport crib (that you get for beating Los Carnales). Any gang members would help me out (without having to have them as homies) and when the FBI truck would come in I'd shoot the people out of it and then just drove it into the garage and saved.

I didnt have much problems with the last Demolition Derby round. The two just before I did though, I'd get down to the last few cars and they'd blow each other up or I'd get to the last car (with 1 left to destroy) get it on fire and then it would drive off and blow up itself and not count. I'd start rounds driving in reverse and when the other cars started smoking then I'd spin around and drive forwards.

I'm hopefull for a patch soon as I've had cars and the stage disappear several times locking the game up (luckily I was able to save once and now save after every mission complete). I also hate that you turn around and most everything disappears. I'll drive by and see a car I want turn around and its gone.

Zombie Lin is the best (Brains!) and Chicken Ned's car is faster than it ever should be. the Platinum RPG has an ammo supply of 21 rounds and is refillable at the cribs so its a lot easier to get the Air Scourge Achievement that way.

    Thanks for the info

For John, I hit the docks again since I was impatient for finding a rooftop to get on, and he was in the first chopper that came out. He was marked for the hud, but the crosshair symbol never showed up on the map. Was trying to snipe the pilots but couldnt do it. They just fly away and return with 3-4 more gunners if you kill them all.
Then I was able to snag an FBI truck and made it to Forgive & Forget.
Was on my 3rd FBI truck though becasue they kept slamming into me like crazy.
    Those FBI dudes are brutal!
Was like a 3 day wait for the fat hooker to spawn.

The fat hooker sucked. I killed her twice with an SMG since I got out of the car and it defaulted to it. I couldnt find her at all after that but stumbled upon her while I was looking for the rollerskating chick so I jumped out and stabbed the crap out of her.

I'm at 78% I just need to do the Mayhem, Racing, Escort and finish the Snatch activities and find the other 42 cds and 24 tags. I'm really hoping the final mission doesn't count towards the percentage complete since it sets you back to the main menu after the credits roll and doesn't mark it as completed in the stats.

I've been having fun robbing places for no real reason. I've robbed the record store in the subburbs so much. I was dissapointed that the gun shop had a McManus in the safe.

Finished all the hitman missions. For some reason Dick took the longest to get, but maybe it's from saving him for last. Started with the hard ones first.

Been using the 'Titan trick' to get tons of cash and been buying all the expensive rides and sporting them up. Don't get anything for it but it's fun.

On the Mayhem missions, the best way I scored points was running down fences by the line. The multiplier goes crazy. It also goes gets high fast from just running people down with shotguns. That free rocket launcher helps for passing cars. Also took 'The Job' out alot and it kept limo's spawning. but did better with the copcars though.
Still on level 4-5 on most of them, they get tough.

45 hours but I'm at 100% now. Just gonna do what I do in the GTA games and drive around and have fun. Need to get to $1,000,000 to unlock that achievement (at 500k now) and buy stuff to finish all the single player achievements.
