I'm pretty sure I saw this done with Optimus Prime still why not?

Another thing of interest. Being Latin American, is very common to most Latin american families to believe in saints. Latin America is very religious oriented but with a hint of santeria (mostly known to most people as voodoo) Is pretty much an amalgation of North European Christianity that came with colonization of America and the African rituals from slaves and Indians. That is one of the reason of explicitly praying to saints in a ritual manners. I don't practice any religion to be honest but the elderly in my family still do.

Anyways most people tend to have a shrine to the saints they pray to. Well I realize the other day I have a Megatron shrine so in a way he's my saint.

So here you go the Saint of Tyrants!!

Wow this is phenomenal. Nicely done.
Saint Megatron, the saint of blowing things up.
That has a nice ring to it.

I love it. I would really like to see it framed in that gaudy, overly ornamental style. It would be perfect.

This painting is just beautiful! I really like it when a more 'serious' subject matter gets woven into a Tranformers illustration.

I find this rather humorous. I love the subject matter and the idea behind the piece. I really like how it came out.

The art is good! The concept, not. Saints are people that have great virtues at heroic level. Megatron can be everything but he can´t be a saint.

Honestly, I could see this as a piece of artwork by a Decepticon. I'd think that propoganda would have a lot to do with the Decepticons trying to rally their cause. Even Megatron could have commissioned this. Augustus Caesar did the same sort of thing, much like many other rulers.

no, not true. a saint is just a person who has been sanctified. sanctifying something means declaring it as especially holy. holy just means something that is dedicated to serving religion.

so if your religion is an evil one then your saints are evil too, as they're complete;y dedicated to serving an evil cause.

although even without any of that of course 'evil' is completely a matter of opinion, and megatron afer all is dedicated to fighting for peace (through tyranny) for the whole galaxy. that woud make him heroic and virtuous in many people's eyes.

That's what I thought Decepticon could see Megatron as a saint after all.
