Yeah, I'm actually hoping they just follow the manga to a t. There are 60 chapters, so 60 episodes works perfectly fine as that is an episode a chapter.
Aren't chapters whole books though? I mean that would be difficult to condense to 30 minutes. Perhaps each episode should run for an hour, and then a chapter per episode would be workable.

Whoa you actually watched the show as a teen too? so did i, i was 14 when the show first hit syndicate tv and 16 when it hit toonami and it was a guilty pleasure as i thought some of the chicks were quite hot mainly Sailor Mars.
I wouldn't be surprised if there were a lot of guys that watched it back in the day. I certainly did, and it certainly wasn't because either of my two sisters watched it. Oddly enough I want to say that it was Mars that caught most of my attention too. Though it's been quite a while since I watched any of it, so I might be remembering wrong. Question for those who know more about anime releases than I do. Warning, I know almost nothing about animes and how they are handeled, so this will probably sound like a rather stupid question to most of you. What's the chances of this getting an English dub at some point?
I saw the first episode Fox premiered on a Saturday morning which was the first episode to the Doom Tree arc. The next time I caught the show was when I was a Freshman in high school in 97 on USA. The first episode I saw then was when Nephrite sent some that lion after Usagi's friend (Molly was her US name). I even have two complete sets of card series from the show, which was funny as I learned about several people in my high school that were fans of the show and anime when they saw me with some cards.
