Well, I wasn't going to post this, but, I might as well. As some of you know, my dog has been sick the past couple of weeks. He had a disease which caused his body to kill of certain cells in his blood. He's been on 6 different medications the bast couple of weeks, and seems to have been doing well, but not well enough. He unfortunetly died early this morning in his sleep. The ironic thing is that today, July 4th, is not only the birthday of your country, but of our dog. His name was Scrappy, and we've had him since I was 10, so he died at the age of 8, 56 in dog years. Here's a photo of him and our other dog, Snickers. Scrappy was a Jack Russel Terrier and Black-faced Mountain Sissel mix, while Snickers is just Jack Russel Terrier.
I'm sorry for your loss. Losing a Dog can be heartbreaking. It's like losing your best friend. My Dad knows this best. He lost all 3 of his Dogs when he was a just young boy.
Man, I am so sorry to hear that.... I know I love my two dogs like they're my kids...the wife and I even refer to them as "the kids" You have my sincere condolences
That's too bad, dude. Sorry about the loss of the little guy. Losing a pet you've had since childhood is a real knee to the gut, too.
No matter how many dogs I used to have, to have them die is always heart breaking to me. My condolences to you.
Thanks guys. Not really sure what to say now. On a different, yet slightley related topic, and none of you will probably believe me when I say this, but, I think I'm becoming schitzophrenic. I started to notice it a couple of months ago. I've slowly began to notice all but two of the sympoms of the disorder, which are hearing and seeing things that aren't really there. The biggest, and probably most clear symptom that I have is the lack of emotional response to something. Theoretically, I should have cried at some point yesterday, but I couldn't. This all might be in my head, but, if I start hearing and/or seeing things, I'll know what's going on.
Sorry to hear the bad news, Ravenxl7. My wife and her family had to put down their dog not too long ago and it was tough on everyone. I'm not going to say that I can imagine what you're going through but I am very sorry for your loss. -= CS =-
