I remember joining the S.T.A.R.S club waaay way back by washing up for my mum and getting 20p each time til I had saved enough.
Yes it makes me feel damn old lol

But I still have the membership card I received and that's my query.

Only info I can find online is from tfwiki which states "..on the front side, an image of Omega Supreme with an Autobot symbol alternates with an image of Astrotrain with a Decepticon symbol, depending on the angle of view. On the back side, the S.T.A.R.S. member can write his or her name and address."

Mine is nothing like that. It's silver with an oversized liquid crystal rub sign revealing only an Autobot symbol.
    Like the pics attached below.

Anyone shed some light on this? Were these the ones available to the UK audience?

dunno about the 80s but during the 90s most members died in the raccon forest ;)

    There were a few survivors....

Lol..any time I search eBay I always get Res Evil stuff.

It was..an honor and a privilege! Just wish I hadn't been a bonehead and got rid of the cardboard base..although it had seen better times!

Still carry it in my wallet:p

Holy crap! I was reading the U.K. comic these were introduced in LAST NIGHT. 195 or 196, I think. Crazy timing.

FYI, the only image they show is the last one you posted there where you write your personal info.

The UK set was different to the US set. The UK set came with the silver card, a slightly different cardboard base & a board game

The game is pretty rare as the board was made from a piece of the packaging so most were thrown away

    Figured as much.
Yeah my base and game lasted for quite some time before becoming a little worse for wear.

Anyone still got hold of theirs?

Also deadbunny, if you look at the one you have, the word "authorised" is spelled with an "s" and not a "z" like it would have been in the U.S. So just from that, it would seem that is maybe the UK/European version of the STARS Membership card.
