Rusty Screws, how do you deal with it?
All of your figures?!
I am not sure about your country but in mine, the humidity here is so high, toys can even rust MISB.
I kept some newly opened Henkei Transformers half sealed in Ziploc bags; half sealed because I heard if there is humidity trapped the bag, it might spoil the toy. About a year and a half later, I checked the toys and half of the screws lost their shine and were slightly tarnished.
Some of my Transformers on display had badly rusted screws, mainly the Animated stuff, not sure if its because of the matte plastic because my Transformers Movie 2007 stuff didn't rust at all, but the screws lost their shine of course.
wow! Maybe get a de humidifier. It can't be rust. Take them off and soak them in CLR. Or replace them.
(but don't put it anywhere near labels or chrome it's like acid on them - so it's not suitable for wheel hubs for that reason.).
Or swap them out from a junker.
Random thought: Upon seeing the title of this thread I though, "Huh that sounds like the name of a heavy metal song."
Well, for one you could start by paying more for your hookers and then maybe they won't be crusty. For two, do you really think this is the place to discuss your preferance in women? Three...
Oh wait, I think I read the title wrong....
I used to replace screws on my GI JOEs with stainless steel ones...they never rust again, ever.
Even more random thought, I saw the title and thought it was the title of a porn movie with a red headed actor. Ha!
Separate names with a comma.
