this was made from a universe 2.0 Iron Hide, this is a pretty cool mold i thought and its pretty easy to disassemble too, the hardest part was getting the paint the color i wanted. And yes that is recoil in his hand but his robot mode is not quite done yet so thats just a little tease
That actually works pretty well. nice paint job and new head, too. Have you considered adding in some simple flat pieces of styrene across the tops of the rear end (his legs) to help further the look as a truck?
I never dream that we can make Kup from Universe Ironhide. I also agree with Redline about that styrene also I've noticed that some of the original paint is bleeding through, but I think you can fix that, but despite that he looks awesome.
This looks great so far--always been a fan of Kup. I have an idea that is basically out of left field for a Kup custom I've been planning. Hope to see more, man.
Oh I see to make him look "rusty". I didn't thought of it, well now I know I think now it looks better with the rust. So my bad.
now you got it, most of my stuff I try to make look like real metal, im not really into cartoony stuff although i have seen some really sweet cartoony stuff on this site. The head was from Universe 2.0 springer
That works pretty well. I always wanted a differant mold for Ironhide though. BTW, the title reminded me of 'shit piece' from the Rude Awakening of Optimus Prime.
looks good, real good, I got him a few weeks ago, no instructions, I'm still tryin to work out how he transforms nevermind customise him, good job
this made me smile. looking really good so far. nice out-of-the-box thinking. more KUPS people. MORE!
Beyond the flat pieces of styrene to make more of a truck bed, have you thought of making some side mirrors? It would really help make the back of the SUV look more like a futuristic snub nosed truck
