Will it be awesome if The Russo Brothers directed a Transformers film? I would like too see their take on it after what they done with Avengers Infinity War & Captain America Civil War. It would like be the best Transformers film ever made....

I really don't know. What works for the MCU would not necessarily fit a TF film.

They'll be busy with the infinity war I and II so it's impossible right now.

Ah, if it isn't the obligatory "Get the director of *successful blockbuster movie* to direct a TF movie" thread!

Who will next month's director be? Place your bets!

I'm sure the Russo brothers are sitting by their phone anxiously waiting for the call to direct Transformers.

See it could go either way. They made Winter soldier, which I honestly believed was just going to be filler but ended up being amazing! But they also made Civil war and outside the fight scenes I wasn't really a fan.

Russo Brothers just an average directors. James Cameron, Doug Liman & Guilermo Deltoro are the best choice.

Hell no! Keep them away from this franchise. The Russo Bros were hired by Kevin Feige because he knows he can control them. I want a strong creative voice who cares about the Transformers mythology.

You're perfectly on point, but I slightly corrected that for you. :)

Edgar Wright (Baby Driver) and Patty Jenkins (Wonder Woman). Also guaranteed. In fact, I've already seen them mentioned along with the two you said.

And of course come December, it'll be Rian Johnson (The Last Jedi) since two years have passed and people don't have a JJ Abrams reminder. And Denis Villeneuve whenever the new Blade Runner comes out.

Rumor is James Cameron would drop his four Avatar sequels in a heartbeat to do a TF movie.

Absolutely. And if that doesn't work out Tony Scott is bargaining with the gate keeper to come back to life to direct it. All is looking up for the movie series.

You correct me, I correct you ;)

Anyway, I'm also placing bets on Taika Waititi (Thor Ragnarok) and Matthew Vaughn (Kingsman 2)

All this talk of directors, but we need a writer first. My choice is William Shakespeare he's pretty good with writing conflict.

If not him, my second choice is the guy who wrote that book The Bible. What's his name? God, I think. You want a sprawling cinematic universe, that's your man.
