I just wanted to know if anyone know what the running time of the new TF movie will be? I just saw Spiderman 3 and IMO I thought it was good but some parts just dragged...what I'm getting at is this I'd rather have a movie that isn't that long that gets to the point than a movie that's three hours long and goes no where (i.e. Peter Jackson's King Kong considering that I knew the ending from the start). Comments??

It's been said to be about 2 1/2 hours long.....

Though i'm not sure it's been confirmed as that long by Bay or Paramount

There was mention recently that the studio wanted to shorten the current running time. I expect it will be about 2 hours and 10 minutes when it releases.

Michael Bay doesn't know how to make a short movie. TF will be at least 2 hrs. 20 mins. if not longer.

A 2 hour+ running time would be very good.

Running time 2+ hours?! And I'm going to be seeing this movie at the very first screening of it at my local movie theater! Oh well... it ought to be worth it.

Multiple storylines converging for an arse-kicking climax? Don't see how it could be under two hours myslf. Bob Orci said the script played out at around that tme, but as action scenes are difficult to quantify 'on the page', it could be more.

Personally I could handle a 150 minute movie with great ease (as long as I have no caffeine to drink beforehand!)

Either whoever it was that said 2 1/2 hours was wrong or they've edited it down since that figure was revealed.

Still it's 2 hours of Transformers on the big screen :D

It's actually better that the film is not 2 1/2 hours. A shorter running time means they can show it more often during the day, which will allow it to make more money! Of course, we don't want the runtime to be too short. Around 2 hours doesn't sound bad. Although, 2 hrs. 10 mins. would be perfect.

because by the time you take out all the credits, that leaves you with a 2 hr movie. (opening and closing credits)
