    Hi Guys,

time ago i open this post:

    http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-3rd-party-discussion/978631-speculation-3p-trypticon.html

I apologize to all of you but this project was "delayed"...all fo you have see the maketoys catalogue, and there are 2 citybots that they are developing after utopia...one is still our big and loved decepticon megasaur but it is "posponed" to another intriguind project (or better mt decided to swap the 2 project)...

the next project is a big decepticon, purple and green, very stinging and with a pair of huge claws^^.

Also another company have teaseize it, but with a smaller scale (not so small but not a city bot^^).

Well in the end there are so many great characters for them to do:

    1) Omega Supreme - DONE
    2) Metroplex - To be released.
    3) Possibly Trypticon
    4) Fortress Maximus
    5) Scoponok
    6) Powermaster Optimus Prime
    7) Overlord

That's before you go into Micromaster citybases etc. They've tons of choice all of which I want and really want done by a company like Maketoys.

I dunno, but prepare the wallet lub as it is going to hurt. Maketoys stuff generally isn't that cheap for their larger toys. But it should be cheaper than Giant as it would have less parts.

Purple and green you say, with claws you say. Megasaur you say.

Gosh I can't imagine who those two could possibly be. :lol

Now I'm looking forward to MT's stuff in 2015 even more so than the remaining things this year. I know Utopia is going to be fantastic but knowing two of my other favorite big guys are also getting made by them oh boy its a dream come true.

Sorry, maybe I missed something, but wasnt PE only making a head for Scorponok, like they did Warden? Or were they also planning the full figure?

Anyways, I am sure this will be a great project, Utopia sure looks fantastic, and looking forward to saving pics on my computer, but this wont be for me, or any other giants other than G1 type Omega Supreme. If money / space wasn't a problem, yea, gimme ALL.

From the sounds of it perfect effect is doing the same thing they did with warden... It will be a base figure with a headmaster... More than likely with a base mode some sort of tank or jet and maybe the option of making him Into a head... However this guy will be larger than warden by the looks of the images so if he does transform into a head they will have to really compact it to make the head work on any old city bots without being too large

PE is doing something a little bit bigger than warder. Headmaster of PE scorponok can be put in the g1 scorponok (but you have to remove the helmet).
MT is thincking to so something about the same scale of utopia...around 40 cm.

I'm crossing my fingers for Trypticon here first. With PE doing Scorponok it's gonna be a hard sell for Maketoys to win my business if they start off with him.

Shit. Citybots are my favorite type of Transformers. If MT is going to release scorponok and trypticon, I may very well have to get Utopia, despite my misgivings about the (relatively) small size (vs gen metro).

Any idea which Scorponok head design MT will lean towards?

The toy/Black Zarak style head on PE's Scorponok is the big turn-off on it for me.

It's the eyes/overall head shape that do that for me.

For me Scorponok is "dude with the red visor for eyes" with an optional yellow helmet visor on top of that.

Again, purely personal aesthetic preference here. It's not a bad head, just not a head to my personal taste.
