Now that Bonecrusher is confirmed, the only ones on my wish list are Shockwave, Barricade, Sideswipe and Soundwave.

 

Movie reboots,years later we'll talk about another "Studio Series" all over again... 

 

Those are on my hopeful list as well I know it will sound weird but I'd want a studio series sideways. Just another character with minimal screen time that got a shit toy almost 10 years ago.

Why would they do Bonecrusher at leader class? He should be a voyager, I dont think he should be any bigger than blackout and SS

 

Studio Series Bonecrusher is a Voyager.

But Ironhide was always bigger than Ratchet in both modes so this makes perfect sense.

 

To be fair, Barricade, Bonecrusher and Blackout had all been used by Hasbro for the then-recent Energon toy line (Blackout even for a helicopter Decepticon), so no doubt those names were used because they were easily available at the time.

I have SS Blackout and he's taller than Screamer but not by much! But they look good together and the scale seems to be right I feel. With Screamer being a Raptor fighter and Blackout being a Sikorsky MH-53 Pave Low helicopter, of course Blackout would be the larger of the two. These helicopters are massive for what they can and do for our US military.

 

So Voyager code name 'Destroyer' = Bonecrusher confirmed?

And I thought wave 3~4 voyagers are Ironhide, Starscream, Destroyer and that's it but another voyager Optimus confirmed.

It sounds to me like Studio series will going to have more future waves.

 

Destroyer is not confirmed to be Bonecrusher it was a theory that surfaced when a few discovered that movie the best bonecrusher was codenamed destroyer.

Right now the upcoming Voyager figures are

Ironhide - wave 3
Screamer - wave 4
Optimus - wave ?
Bonecrusher - wave ?

Who knows destroyer could be another separate figure , it could be bonecrusher , or it could be nothing as the original listing is believed to be a mistake.

 

I have heard that we getting SS Sen. Prime as well. Supposed to be a TALL Voyager class figure!

So chances are studio series will last longer than 3 to 4 wave or another year?

 

I'd say so right now its potentially at least 5 waves for 2018.

And with only 2 figures left before they have completely redone the 07 cast. I'd say its a good indicator of a future pattern for the line I wouldnt be surprised if said pattern repeated next year for ROTF.
