I saw this off of Twitter. Take this with a grain of salt as always, but maybe it deserves some discussion. Mods, please move if necessary. I believe this is new to us though.

If true, I think I'm definitely more excited for the attendee toys. Been wanting Octopunch/Spinister updates for awhile now.

    Ebay:
    - Metalhawk (Generations THUNDERWING repaint with new head)

Damn - was hoping for Cyclonus. I bet it turns out decent though.

    - Octopunch (Hunt for the Decepticons SEA SPRAY repaint with new head)

Not a huge fan of this mold, or Octopunch being freaking huge, but this could be nice.

    - Spinister (Hunt for the Decepticons TOMAHAWK repaint)

    Hell yes!

    - Treadshot (Reveal The Shield JAZZ repaint)

Oh god...they're referencing the Armada Treadshot.

    - Kick Off (Reveal The Shield JAZZ repaint)

    Nice!

    - SG Junkions (possibly Wreck-Gar, Junkheap, and Scrapheap done in Insecticon colors)

That could be pretty interesting, especially if they use 1 of each head.

    - SG Swindle (Universe HOUND, this one strikes me as possibly incorrect because of how similar Swindle would be to BotCon 2011 Turbomaster and because of the gang molded Ravage)

Huh. Kinda interested, kinda boring. I guess my FP Swindle has me fixed ;-)

Okay, let's run these down... (reposted from the Gigatron thread with more comments)

Expected. Actually I expected Metalhawk to just use the Sky Shadow head.

WHOA. Now that I did not see coming. Sounds cool.

I've been hoping for this one for a long time. I hope it's true.

    Okay, what now? Crazy. But...

...It makes more sense if this one is true. One mold will have to be used twice, after all.

Also expected, the molds if not the color schemes. What will be really interesting is if all three different heads are used. That'll be a first for the troop-builder set.

Yeah, I don't know about this one either.

Reviewing the list, it's still one short. Assuming Octopunch/Spinister is one set, Kick-Off/Swindle is the other, and the Junkions are the troop-builders, there's still the attendee freebie missing.

Octopunch and Spinister sound awesome, Metalhawk sounds predictable (but that doesn't mean bad), not really sure about SG Treadshot, or Classics Kick-Off, but not sure about the Jazz head still being used.

If Metalhawk really is Thunderwing I hope they're able to use the Sky Shadow chestpiece. Also, I'm betting Kick-Off will be the attendee freebie, not only because it's a double of a mold but also because it's the toy I'd want the most so of course it'll be the hardest/most expensive to get.

The Junkion Insecticons come as no surprise, really. I heard about this particular rumor a few weeks back from a friend who heard it from a friend who knew a guy (yeah, one of those ...), but it was from a "reliable source."

I need to read up on these characters. My Geewun wisdom is wayyy off right now.

Maybe I'll skip the box set and just go for Octopunch and Spinister, if those are actually legit. Octopunch in has the potential to be really cool if they give him a new headsculpt.

If Spinister is true then I'll get this. Was hoping for a DOTM Skyhammer repaint.

Metalhawk (Generations THUNDERWING repaint with new head)

I think I prefer the idea of taking robot mode inspiration from the pretender shell so the Thunderwing/BlackShadow mould should come out nice.

    - Octopunch (Hunt for the Decepticons SEA SPRAY repaint with new head)

I think I can see this, the two new heads so far shown give me some pause though.

    - Spinister (Hunt for the Decepticons TOMAHAWK repaint)

Yeah sure seems like a good fit. Shame Cyclonus isn't being used for Metalhawk as there probably would have been enough targetmasters made to equip each Spinister with 2.

    - Treadshot (Reveal The Shield JAZZ repaint)

"Oh god...they're referencing the Armada Treadshot."

    - erm wow, if thats the case, wow!
I mean great mould but if they wanted dual purpose from Jazz what about Circuit/ Axer, Jackpot or Rad. I know we got an Axor and the rest are Autobots, but they all make more sense

    - Kick Off (Reveal The Shield JAZZ repaint)

    Nice!

    - SG Junkions (possibly Wreck-Gar, Junkheap, and Scrapheap done in Insecticon colors)

    I. Just. Don't. Get it!

Junkions are no surprise, but ... I really don't have an opinion on these right now.

    - SG Swindle (Universe HOUND, this one strikes me as possibly incorrect because of how similar Swindle would be to BotCon 2011 Turbomaster and because of the gang molded Ravage)

Well it would be another use of the Hound mould and another cassette. So not the worst thing in the world.

I'm sceptical. Cool if these pan out, but not getting my hopes up right now.

    ^ Yeaaaah.

On the other hand, SG Swindle might be so they have an excuse to pump out more SG Ravages. I imagine he'll be in more demand what with SG Soundwave.

Spinister with no new head would be eh...I don't like Tomahawk's head very much, and Spinister has a great head.

Kick Off would be neat, particularly with Overlord in the set.

Spinister would probably work with the Vortex head though, I'd say.
