Hmm. I have no strong feelings about this, we could get more shows, We might get animated movies, The Hub might go worldwide, The Hub might disappear, Rescue Bots might get cancelled, certain other shows might get cancelled, it could be good, it could be bad.

The Marvel rides are still at Universal Orlando, the last time I checked.

If Disney does what they did with Marvel, I'm happy.

This could be the end of the IDW's Transformers and G.I. Joe comics, just like Dark Horse's Star Wars comics. :(

    Which was?

Honestly, if they buy Hasbro, I hope that they boost the budget for Prime.

    A lot.

If this happens, Disney would not mess around with their IP, and they have the money & lawyers to go after anybody. This will change the game for Hasbro toys, games, comics, and TV programs, if this comes to pass.

I hear from "on good authority" that the first crossbranding effort we'll see after the Disney acquisition of Hasbro will be a ressurrection of the Visionaries line, combined with the classic Disney "Song of the South" film.

Or maybe cancel it due to it being too dark to Disney to air is a more likely outcome...:(

They may have not had a huge part in it, I don't know the specifics, but The Avengers was a GREAT movie. Give us a Transformers movie of that quality.

Rumor mill aside, the graphic that MTV Geek threw up with the "story"... I can't tell if it's lazy or just dumb. Someone kick the intern to the curb. XD

Really? Have you seen TRON: Uprising? Pretty mature story telling right there. And the Incinerator scene from Toy Story 3? Wasn't that all bubbles and giggles?

Sorry from what I've heard, Prime will be cancelled, so they can focus on more fan supported favorites like G1 and Beast Wars. Both to feature the bad ass TFP Arcee character. And, being the primar focus of both shows.

Oh god, I hope this happens. Disney is a household name across the globe. If they backed Transformers, we'd get a show that reached every child in the country and thus, got us better distribution on toys.

    :lol

Somehow unless someone at Disney is running hard and fast with the purse strings then we won't see another large scale acquisition by Disney for a good 5 years at least.

That wasn't chump change they dropped on Lucas and the last thing a company needs after such a huge takeover is the headache of a 2nd before they've found their feet again.
