Either someone wants to put out a G1-esque repaint of HA Soundwave or HA Soundwave swapped colors with Que/Wheeljack.

Something doesn't seem right. It could be just a regular model of the Mercedes that someone toy-swapped in.

EDIT: Maybe I'm wrong. I see some panel lines on the sides of the hood.

97% sure it's a fake. When was the last time we got that much metallic paint of that quality on a mass-retail Hasbro Transformer? Besides, if they can afford to do this, why not give the regular release a coat of silver? Or the Deluxe, for that matter?

    Highly skeptical.

Anyway, I don't think even the prettiest paintjob in the world could save that mold. :lol

And if that is the case, I sense some douchebaggery afoot.

Of course, it may be a custom.

The liner art seems to show Soundwave's head in a blue hue as well.

Unless that's how it looks on the normal packaging. I could be wrong.

I doubt it's a real HA Soundwave. I've never had or seen a HA toy that had nice metallic paint. But if it is real, I would get it.

It's most likely just a custom job someone threw back into the packaging, trying to play it off as real. Nothin' to see here, folks...Although, that's a pretty nice color, I must say.

But the head on the package is blue as well? photoshop maybe? If the paint job did turn out like this, then maybe the shitty leg design can be forgiven:lol

Edit: never mind, just looked up the real package version and it looks the same shade of blue as this one.

Gotta be faked or a custom. The inside of the door frame is still grey, I doubt that Hasbro would use grey plastic and paint it blue instead of just molding it in blue plastic.

This. All that metallic paint...it can't be Hasbro.

Is Mr. Gould and Laserbeak any different? If this is real, I'd expect Hasbro to make some changes to their color schemes as well.
