Specifically United VS. PE. I originally planned on passing on PE's stuff and decided to pre-order the United back when I had the chance, but I'm starting to wonder if it'll ever ship. So I've been thinking of going for the PE set, but they of course are ridiculously small like Reflector (who I have and like, but wish was just a bit bigger).

So I'm not sure what to do-try to be patient and get United, or go for PEs?

EDIT::despite the both option, I don't have the $$ for it. threw it in there anyway.

I have both, and although I like the design/size/overall appearance of the P/E version, the United ones are definately more fun to mess around with. For me it would come down to weather you are planning to use them primarily for display or play, and how much of a "classics" completionist you are. Hurt for me, cause I am prettymuch a classics completionist but like the best looking ones in my display, so I decided that I needed em both.

I prefer united. For the PE set its $70+ ship and there really isnt much plastic. I was in shock at how tiny they are for that price. However, the design of the PE is way better.
If you cant get both, get united.

Yea, they are small, but if you buy transformers only based on how big they are for the price, you are gonna be stuck with a pack of Supreme Cheetas and Ultimate BB. I really feel they warrant the $70 pricetag. They are neat little figures. Figure it is $35 per figure.

    PE Rumble & Frenzy

They cost to much and are a little too small, but when it comes down to it they are the best option.

Obviously I dont buy tfs based on size. Its what you get for that $70 that bothers me. They are nice but not that nice. It is a matter of opinion of course.

I have both PE & United and Uníted's staying MISB indefinitely cos PE fits in so much better with the rest of the display. Here's what I mean:

Although I have both sets, I still prefer PE's as they fit in better in the Classics line-up. United fits in pretty well with the WFC figures, on the other hand.

The Perfect Effect figures are just fucking AWESOME! They are packed with tons of character, more articulation than just about any figure out there (of any size) and they really evoke the look of classic Rumble and Frenzy.

IMO the United figures have way too much kibble and horrible legs. Nice heads and torso, but nothing else about them really does it for me.

    PE wins without contest.

PE all the way, Rumble and Frenzy were almost human sized Transformers, so they are in scale with the rest of the figures.

United for me, because after Ninja/Rosanna, I have issues with tiny-yet-pricey toys that turn into ill-defined rectangular shapes (lacking tape spool holes. :)  )

Maybe they fit in with the display, but to say they fit in better ... shouldn't you have a picture of a display with the United ones... to make a comparison?

I'd just be interested in seeing people's displays using the United Frenzy & Rumble. Haven't seen much of that.
