nope..I move them, though. I moved Starscream's onto his back. And I also added rubsigns to Megatron, and 2-pack Megatron and Prime.
Sometimes, I move them. It depends on the figure. I haven't taken to totally remvoving them, yet. I was always kind of ambivilent towards rubsigns, but Classics is starting to make me really dislike them. I don't like having to decal brand new figures. Rub signs are no replacement for real faction symbols.
I too need to get actual faction symbols for my Classics collection. As for rubsigns, I leave 'em alone, but Bumblebee lost his. It fell off and disappeared.
I usually move them since it may not be like G1, but I really liked what early BW did with rubsigns being their spark and not in plain site.
I've only got a couple of Primes so far, and I haven't taken the sign off the original. I have from the second one though, since I'm modding it, and it'd be silly to leave an Autobot rubsign on a Decepticon. When he's finished, though, he will be getting a spanking new Reprolabels Decepticon rubsign.
my 10 year old cousin got a Grimlock for Christmas (I was jealous I didnt get one!) and I told him about how, when I was a kid, you "didnt know" what side the figure was on until you rubbed the sign. He thought that was the coolest part of the toy!
Hell no. I have had to move the one on my Prime and my son's Prime, however. They were both crooked. My boy's was actually hanging off a little. I shifted them so they were straight and not going to be pulled off accidentally.
No way. I prefer them to faction insignias. Something I never understood was how they could be a ROBOT IN DISGUISE with a ten foot fucking symbal on their hood. Although Hot Rod does look a little weird since I'm used to there being an insignia in the middle of his flames.
