I performed a search and didn't see anything about this particular item (other than a very nice kitbash).

It's not going to be released until 2008, but should be interesting to watch for nonetheless. Does anyone have any more information on this?

The allspark is the same color on all sides. So you'd have to solve it by pattern. That would have to be harder than a normal Rubiks cube. I'll pass cause I can't work a normal one.

Interesting. Depending on what it looks like, I might get it. I'd imaging that each side, while having the Allspark's pattern's on them, would also be tinted different colors, or something like that, so that it would basically be like a normal one, just with a cool patter on it.

I would like to have one. It sounds like a great idea.

According to the listing it comes with a hint booklet to help solve it.

Each side of the AllSpark has a different pattern, though, and they're interconnected.

It's still an option that they could do, lol. I'd actually prefer it to be like the Allspark, and basically be the same color all over. Hmm...I wander if we'll get an Allspark toy with the Animated line. That would be cool, though I can see it being packaged with the little girl, lol.

I cannot see how the Rubik's cube is hard. Just use the booklet and devise your own algorithms. That's how I did it and I can solve it under 2 minutes. Now to work on my new 4x4...

Hmm... might get it, if it looks good and not like that SuDoKube where it's 100x harder to get the numbers to align the same direction

Actually, I've seen some solved, and some already mixed up, sometimes in the same store. Personally, I hope this one comes already solved, this way I can be lazy and not have to solve it :D .

I'll lube it up with KFC and McDonalds grease so it'll mix itself up when you're taking it out

I gotta say, this is probably one of the more creative products I've seen spawned from the movie franchise so far. Things like chess sets, bedding, transforming toothbrushes, etc. mass production crap aren't my bag, but this idea is actually pretty clever. Can't wait to see how it looks - hopefully it won't be color coded.
