Is there some way to remove the rubsigns on the upcoming RTS figures? Lugnut looks AWESOME...except for those rubsigns on his wings.

Just peeled mine off a while ago. You just kinda have rub the adhesive residue with a finger after you peel it off.

I can't believe these things bother people that much.

^ Yeah. I didn't care for the rubsigns on the original Classics line figures, but not so much that I had to take them off.

It just bugged me that none of them had Autobot of Decepticons symbols other than the rubsign.

I normally use a hair dryer to loosen up the adhesive and then peel off the rubsign.

rubsigns are awesome in the "classics" line because its a throwback to the roots of TF

The rub-sign was off centered on my Tracks so I figured I'd remove it. Will definitely be getting repro labels for Tracks!

... Because in 2006, Hasbro was afraid of Classics knock-offs and other transforming robot franchises?

yea, I peeled mine off under Tracks, and tried to center it a little more, but it left some adhesive, so I said screw it and left it on. What will be really frustrating is if they end up releasing them with symbols instead of rubsigns in about 5 months. Then I would need to repurchase.

I prefer unambiguous symbols to rubsigns, so I move them somewhere out of the way and replace with stickers. These new 'trimmed' rubsigns without the silver border are kinda neat though. On RTS Tracks I moved the black rub sticker to the black painted rear window, where it blends in nicely until warmed up.
