Repainted the whole figure from top to bottom. Also added a reprolabel for the inside of his chest. Any and all comments welcome, enjoy!

Thanks bro', I was thinkin' that as well. I'm thinking about adding some scuffs and scrapes here and there to make it look a little more real for his alt mode. Some silver weathering around the edges of the red may also go a long way. Always room to grow on.....Thanks man.

I really dig the colors on Perceptor, Jason! Sunstreaker looks great too. I may have to do something similar with my Perceptor now--the color scheme you did looks great and it breaks up those long teal legs he has originally. What color and type of paint did you use? They turned out very nice! Great work, my friend!

Looks awesome but I think the silver/chrome hands and feet are throwing me off. Maybe I'm just used to black hands and feet.

Overall though it looks really clean and I dig it :thumb

Hey Thanks again guys, appreciate the love:)  For his colors I tried something new that turned out quite well. For the metallic red, I used a two-step process. First I sprayed a base coat of Testors Silver Leaf and then overcoated with Testors Transparent Candy Apple Red, which turned out really smooth and clean. For the little details I used Citadel acrylics. A flat chaos black for the arms legs, boltgun metal/mithril silver for the tank treads, and hawk turqoise mixed with mithril silver for the forearms and upper thighs. You can't really tell in the pics, but adding the silver in the turqoise gives it a shiny metallic look as well. Thanks again to all!

Looks really good, but I can't get past the chromed hands and feet. They don't look bad per se, but I'm just not digging it (compared to his usual black hands and feet)

I decided to go with the black hands and feet as per his g1 look. So here's an updated pic...

I'm digging the shiny paint job. The silver looks almost chrome and it's a nice call-back to G1 style.

A little tip for your photography though. If you are going to do more of such shiny repaints, it might be better to turn off your flash and use a lamp (or lamps) to provide lighting from the sides instead. Currently you risk overexposure in your photos because of the flash reflecting straight on into the lens. Side lighting may help bring out more of the sculpt details too.

    Just saying :thumb

Looks good, but would look even better with a proper lighting rig for your photos. Right now all of them look blown out and it's hard to really see the great paint job you did.

This is a great paint jpb, bro! I love what you did with the chest and the black hands and feet look much better IMO. Over all, kick ass job. Yep, time to step your game up in pics department, bro ham.

Nice job, much better than the paint job from Hasbro. Id have gone with a different red though, non-kandy colored.
