I finally got my hands on a legends Starscream today. Since I'm not crazy about Screamer, I figured I might as well make it into one of my favorite seekers.

This figure was a lot more difficult to paint up than I thought. I removed the factory paint so the bits of red on the chest are not as red as they would be.
I wasn't able to get to the crevices. It doesn't bother me too much. I can just pass it off as "rust damage."

Unless I find more of the mold or somehow get a bunch more, I won't be making Thundercracker and the Rainmakers.

UPDATE: I found a way to get rid of a lot of the red on the chest. It looks much better now.

    I completely agree.

I have fixed a lot of the redness on the chest. Uploaded a new pic. Left the old one there for comparison.

in a nice way I'd like to suggest that masking tape gives sharper lines no matter what you put the paint on with be it spray ,brush or pen and might i also suggest using a small brush to touch up the red spots!

I may try that one day. I like to free hand though. I like the satisfaction of getting done well without guidelines. Maybe that's just me.
