I remember reading somewhere that this was going to be an exclusive, but it should make it easier to find if it's not. I already have the existing classics version of each of these guys, but I like the colors on this Cyclonus better and I could use another Hot Rod to display now that I have the FP Protector (Rodimus Prime Upgrade) set. It's a definite buy for me if I happen to run across it.

That was all just rumor, which actually had started with the Challenge at Cybertron 3 pack (thanks to Hasbro UK). When the RTS Battle in Space box set was announced, there was some speculation going on there too. But that's all it was.

Well this is bullshit, I called 6-7 different Targets today and the only one showing any on hand, after 23 minutes of being on hold with an inept toy team member, tells me they are street dated and cannot be sold until January 2nd. WTF?!?

 

Yeah, they're street dated for the week of January 2. All the people who have found them at Target have found them because the employees didn't pay attention to/didn't care about the tag. Target will be doing a reset of the toy department that week. They'll also be putting out the Stealth Force motorcycle assortment.
