Does RPM stand for Robot Powered Machines in the Power Rangers series as well? I'm having trouble finding the meaning of that acronym..if it has one at all.

Thanks. Apart from not making common sense, it's too different from Robot Powered Machines, so they probably have no leg to stand on.

RPM has been used before Power Rangers and no it is too common of an acronym for a lawsuit.

Are you saying that the acronym RPM (Power Rangers) makes no sense, or RPM (TFs) makes no sense?

    Both :p

I understand that the RPM in the Power Rangers title probably has to do with them driving machines that go..superfast? Still, using that as a title would be kinda the same as 'Power Rangers: Sliding And Intertwining Metals' for a series that involves any Zords...

Robot Powered Machines makes no sense since..well..the machines ARE the robots..:lol

Not that I really care though, I guess it sounds 'cool' for kids which helps sell.

Well, cars actually have RPM meters which stands for the same thing, but yeah, they seem goofy, but RPM just rolls off the tounge. :p

Actually, the Power Rangers line stands for "Racing Performance Machines." So yeah, there might be a problem.

Seeing as they aren't trying to trademark "RPM" (check the packaging, there's no copyright, TM or R symbol beside RPM...only beside "Robot Powered Machines"), and "RPM" is a term that's commonly used to describe a different underlying phrase that can't be copyrighted, I doubt it's going to be a problem. I'd imagine the Power Rangers example is similar if someone looked into it: They probably have "Racing Performance Machines" copyrighted/trademarked, but not the "RPM".

I wouldnt really say Power Rangers has a case but I know Hot Wheels used to have something very similar to the RPMs and they failed miserably the cars couldnt even stay on there said tracks and didnt really hold any charge either but that ws years ago maybe Hasbro improved on it

Power Rangers RPM - RPM stands for Reprocessed Plot Manuscript

Transformer RPM - RPM stands for Reprocessed Plot Manuscript

    No relation at all.
