This might be discussed elsewhere but I don't know what the thread could possibly be called as I can't identify this monstrosity myself.

I heard Michaele Bay didn't want to have mass shifting in this movie, but exactly what on earth is the size of this "Big wheel" thing that they have in the trailer? It's wheel is the diameter of a 6 lane highway. I was told its supposedly one of the Constructicons but unless the Constructicons are showing up as Cybertronian constructions vehicles, what the hell is that.

Secondly, if mass shifting is out? (Even if we don't count the cube and frenzy's head) A transformer Meteor that big would probably level a city.

    BAM! Nuff Said!

But you do have to wonder what one of those monster scoopers is doing downtown instead of in a mine like they are made for

First, that's not near the size. Second, those are treads not a wheel.

The threads transform (push outward) to form a wheel. 2 threads = 2 wheels.
And it is the size..or close to it. Remember that alot of Transformers in the movie universe are more compact in vehicle mode. If you check the trailer you can see this bot doesn't really have all that much body in robot mode, so it's easy to assume he gains alot of size when transforming (but the vehicle mode itself is pretty big to begin with).

I disagree that a protoform that big would level a city. These aren't stray meteorites, but living beings. Although I bet the Decepticons love to crash into Earth and buildings, they're no idiots. They have control over their trajectory to come in slower and more angled to land safely.

Have you guys seen the trailer? I'm not comparing it to a transformer from the series or a toy, I'm asking about the giant wheel robot, the one who's wheel is bigger than Optimus.

YOu know if you had just shown the picture of that freak of a transformer toy, transformed like that in the first place, this thread wouldn't have gone on this long

The center of the tread mechanism compacts, expanding the caterpillar tracks out, creating the giant wheel.

Maybe if you knew that vehicles alot bigger than semi-trucks existed we wouldn't even HAVE this topic.

You can clearly see in both the trailer and the toy that the treads turn into wheels.

if you weren't a newbie on this forum and knew to research before you post, THEN this thread wouldn't exist.
