jesus, who designed that crap? a flash novice maybe? My computer is built from the ground up to handle some of the heaviest graphic intensive shit around, yet that site runs about 1 frame per second and freezes up my browsers...
I bet Michael Bay's the only one with a computer beeft enough to handle such crap. I was excited to see that too.

....seriously? A three year old AMD dual core at 2.2GHz with a Geforce 9600GT runs the site fine.

The presentation is quite nice especially with the animated Optimus, BB, and Starscream off to the side. The content is still pretty standard stuff: old promo pics, a handful of TV spots (there's many more on Bay's site), some flash games, a brief yet nicely done synopsis of the film, and a fan art gallery. You can see Soundwave in satellite mode as he serves as the site's nav/interface. Worth checking out overall if you have a few minutes, but don't expect anything especially trouser shattering. It is an official website after all.

Runs reeeally slow on my computer.

I have a 1.8 64 bit dual core, 2 gigs of ram, with XP installed (so no hiccups from Vista to whine about on my end), and it still won't run great. The sound even stutters. WTF?

You might have to just refresh the page. I'm on 64-bit Vista quad core 6 gigs of DDR2, and it was moving rather sluggish. I just closed and reopened and it is running as smooth as silk.

it's designed and built poorly, a website shouldn't require such high resources from your computer. I'm guilty of it as well (my own site) but honestly, It appears to still move slow motion for me sometimes. They must have ran out of money and got some college web designers to build it as an internship or something...
