Been working on this guy all day. Loads of fun.

I don't plan on making him transformable since his alt mode isn't much to speak of. I didn't even bother transforming him before I put him under the knife. I might try to transform him now just to see what kind of shape his alt mode would make.

Head was cut off. Dremeled out a section of his chest to accommodate new neck pieces. New neck made from various Gundam parts. Now his head is more upright and at an angle closer to his movie self and it turns and tilts up. No more silly flip out panels.

I also took the jet type cockpit off and cut it up to use as detailing on his chest area. Those parts have not been attached yet.

His hips have been modified as well. I moved them down a hair so they don't hit his waist/arm thingies anymore. Also used Gundam parts for his new hip connections. Retains full range of motion.

With the hip and head mods, he now stands at 9.5 inches tall.

Having a blast working on this guy. Can't wait to finish up the last few details so I can get to painting. Should be a hoot.

For now, here's a preview pic. More to come...

    Thanks, SP! Most kind.

I actually tried to transform this modified version last might. It can be folded up into a vehicle type shape, but there's really no point, imho. This one's all about the figure.

    I'll think about it...

Oh yeah. Man you are rocking on these movie figs.

The fallen has so much potential to be a great figure. The neck mod is perfect. I have plans on doing the same thing. Now you have just confirmed why!!!!

The Fallen is my Current WIP. I like your mods, I might have to take them into consideration.

His hips and non-rotating head are the most annoying parts.

Those were my biggest concerns as well. Removing the jet kiddle was pretty simple, but moving the head and hips took some time.

I have the legs fully painted as I wanted to visualize the color scheme before modding his torso. This guy is going to make for some of the coolest customs to come outta the ROTF line.

This is great I was looking at the art I have saved and was wondering why the toy looked so crouched over like that. This is a must do mod for any custom now.

Yeah, the head on the original is wedged down into his chest. My guess accuracy took a back seat to the flower pedal panels that pop. Some of the other panel gimmicks also resulted in bulkier arms.

The head sculpt itself is nice. It just needs to be tilted forward about 45 degrees and moved up to better match the look of the Fallen images seen so far.

I've finished the last of the detail mods to his chest and should be well into painting tomorrow. Gonna be fun. It's a pretty neat figure.
