I have seen Stratosphere a few times on the shelves, but never took the plunge. My local Walmart now has a nice display of voyagers with several of this guy in the mix. One issue I can see me having with him (from the pics at least) would be his feet. Do they allow him to stand well? And of course the most important question: Is he worth purchasing?

id say yes its a cool figure could have been better if they had not taken away the space shuttle gun , i have him next to my leader class prime and i can't help but think "Truck goes where?" every time i look at the bigger prime next to the hopelessly out of scale Stratosphere lol

Thanks...I am checking that out now.

Grimlock1972: Thanks for the info. I'm still considering it, but I may just use that money to put toward a leader class.

okay and np the alt mold is good and the mini prime that comes with really helps to put a sense of hugeness to it if displayed by its self and the mini prime parked behind with the cargo ramp open

I can imagine it does look a bit odd when placed beside leader Prime. :)

What would your other choices be? I would probably save that money to invest in a figure you've wanted for awhile not for an impulse buy (however I violate that mentality all the time). Based on how well he sells, he may actually be around long enough to be clearanced.

I'm thinking of putting that $20 towards leader Jetfire....plus I want HA Skids but I have yet to see him locally.

And off topic...I love the pic you have of the cat in your sig. I have a cat that looks very similar to yours.

I'd get it, it's one of the unique molds from ROTF line.

If you have Leader Optimus (which we should all have) then Leader Jetfire is a worthy purchase. Even without OP it's still a huge and fairly accurate figure. I too am waiting eagerly for HA Skids to show up in my area and from everything I've heard, it's one of the best figures around.

About the pic, thanks! That is my parents cat Lily (short for Tiger Lily) and she is a Maine coon/Tabby mix. They also have a male named Lincoln who is also a Maine coon mix. Oddly enough, both of these cats were given to my parents from two different people and different times.

Oh yeah, I have Leader Optimus. One of the best figures ever. I wasn't completely sold on Leader Jetfire until last weekend when some of the guys from the NC group on here met up. I got to see one and see it transformed in person (originally I had only seen pics online).

My cat is a Maine coon as well. He is 2 and a half years old, named Smokey. He's my cat but lives with my parents. I have a pic of him somewhere..I will post it sometime.

The only thing bad about Stratosphere are the enormous feet, and I have grown not to mind them as much.

I'd say go for it. He is one of the most underrated figures in the line.

Stratosphere is a very cool figure!!! Unique with personality and a satasfying transformation. If you can find Long Haul though, he's an even better figure!

well, this figure isnt meant to be in scale with LEADER prime.. thats why they include the mini optimus prime figure with it.. if u want this figure to be in scale with any of ur leaders or even voyagers, i guess, forget it.. but he looks cool and unique, and im definitely picking him up.. the only problem i have with this figure is the feet.. not very nice. but apart from that, he looks awesome and very different :)

Hmm, do Voyagers get clearanced easily? I've never seen any clearanced Voyagers of any line at my Wal-mart.

I too, am interested in this figure, but am unwilling to spend yet, haha.
