    UPDATE: 4/11/10

Well gang, here is my newest project. ROTF Deluxe/Voyager(sorry, don't know what I would consider him) Scrapper. What do we need to start this little project? Well a Deluxe ROTF Rampage, and Scrapper from the Sup. Devy set.

-So first, we remove the front end of Rampage, along with the legs up near the first joint. Next, we take the bucket off of the Scrapper. Now, I am only temporarily using the existing part of Scrapper to attach the legs(which will be the outside parts to the bucket. Later I will use the ball end of the Sup figure to assemble to the leg.

-Took the balljoint attachment on Supreme, and attached to existing leg piece, this gives it the appropriate attachment for the bucket arm, just need to fill it in a little.

-Now, the middle bucket can't just sit there right? So, we take the hydraulics clip and attack it to the bucket. Now, it stays on the figure and just swoops over the back while in robot mode. As you see, the cab fits nice in there. Bucket is really the biggest part of kibble now.

-Lower leg wheels attached! This one, I wanted to keep the wheels in a the appropriate place in alt mode, as well as give him the behind the feet in Bot mode. So, I found a decent ball and socket joint item...well, cannibalized a Scout Reverb of his rear wheel.

-Now, this is obviously the best way I can figure to keep the positions right. While his front wheels are a lil more outside than the back, it was about all I could do.

-I took the existing arms of Rampage and removed them just below the shoulder joint. Using the legs of Rampage, I needed to add a new hole to add a swivel jointed elbow. Took my dremel and drilled the opening as seen, and slid over it. With more articulation, it can bend at the elbow as well as the shoulder. I also left the top gears from Rampage, because it has a little similarity to Scrapper, and it also makes it a lot better being a tighter fit up on the shoulder.

-Now has hands! The right had I used the parts from Rampages bucket arm to make a rotating joint as the wrist, and the left arm...you guessed it! A missile launcher for launching mace!

-I took a launcher from ROTF Dirge, dremmeled part of the left arm and fitted the launcher in place. Cut down the launcher and missile a bit in the back, as well as cut down part of the warhead to attach the hand. The string is from a GIJoe movie figure that goes rather well being yellow.

Update 4/11 Wet Paint! After some paint and weathering, here we are. Not done just yet obviously. No new head ready. I used Chrome yellow for the main body color. Chrome silver for some of the pistons. Most of the blackish color is gunmetal. For the weathering, I used Desert Tan followed by a little charcoal grey.

I have offically classified him as a Voyager!! Size comparison.

Also, did get the head worked on, dremeled it down to a better shape, and painted it.

    And...a transformation instruction pic...

Step 1, detach side buckets from center
Step 2, swing buckets down to form legs
Step 3, flip back front cover and center bucket over back
Step 4, rotate waist 180 degrees and push arm flaps back into place
Step 5, rotate leg wheels down to meet bucket and lower head

    Pretty slick

There's a place you can cut on the arms to give him elbow articulation.
And it does'nt affect tformation. It's a pretty common mod

Thanks for the kind words. As far as the chicken legs, it affects the Alt mode a bit. It causes the bucket to sit a lot lower, which may affect how the wheels will sit. I have to work with it a little, see what looks the best. Plus, have to add some more parts to make it look more like a front end loader and less like Rampage.

Very cool concept. It will be very cool to see the Scrapper figure that we all desperately wanted!

Good vision, here. You may even be able to Shell some of the Supreme Scrapper around your figure and still have it transform!

Oh, and FYI, I will be in touch about which figures I will take off your hands. Scavenger, for sure! Glad we were able to help each other here.

Haha I'm actually working on this, using the sup. Scrapper and giving him a bot mode (your former Long Haul's legs are part of the equasion, lol.)

the goal is to have a bigger-than-Classics Devastator... Lots of work ahead before I start making a thread though.

Nice little mod so far! If you keep him deluxe-sized (the scale of Rampage sorta forces it) maybe trim a section out of each of the outer bucket parts to get a narrower shovel overall.
