I find funny that most of the new voayger molds are Decepticons, while the Autobots get a remold of Ironhide while most of the rest are repaints.
But the autobots are getting a pretty good amount of new deluxe molds. Brawn and Ratchet, which I don't understand as a deluxe because it seemed like his voyager mold didn't sell very well originall and the TFA version was quite the shelf warmer Back on topic, thanks for the pic. And yeah I can see Hasbro putting the combonation part in the smaller toy to get parents out to buy the bigger more expensive figure for their kids that insist on having them both. Who smells a future 2-pack in the works?
Why not advertise it in both sets of instructions? I'd think even more extra sales would be garnered that way.
It's curious alright. The way I see it, Human Alliance sort of balances it out in terms of the kind of money involved, but the lack of big-guy autobots is notable. There's Ironhide, Ratchet and Optimus and that's it. And then dwarfing all of them, there's the total anomaly that is Stratosphere.
] might be something like the legends power-up prime deal. had no mention of Jetfire on prime's packaging but there were signs that they combined. then again mindwipe and skystalker didn't appear in the movie but we'll never know for sure if they combine or not until someone posts a pic of both.
I just realized their combination is probably a Homage of "Starscream and BB" or "dreadwing and Smokescreen" as seen here: Dreadwing and smokescreen image by BB_Shockwave on Photobucket Of course they were more integrated when together...
