TRU had a bunch of RotF Voyagers for 9.73, BOGO 50% off, so I bought a Fallen and a Defender Prime. Never particularly wanted either of them, but they were dirt cheap. They also had the original RotF Voyager Prime, but there was only one Defender in a sea of the rest of the shelfwarmers so I pulled the trigger. Anyone actually like this mold? Look good out of package?

I like the first use from that mold. It had like a battle ready look to it and Peter Cullen in there is great too. I like him in his own way as a design. But never liked that hftd Optimus. I like the Movie 1 and 3 Voyager Optimus' more.

I like the mold, but not that particular deco.

Anyway, while it's a fun figure, it's probably rather obsolete compared to the more recent Optimus molds.

If you can find him, get Battle Blades Prime. It's a superior mold.

He's been showing up at Marshalls/TJMaxx, I might. I never actually wanted any movie Voyager Primes, it was just too cheap to pass up.

I never liked that deco myself, as it's not screen-accurate. The mold itself is decent - the 2007 Voyager was my first movie prime. However, HftD Battle Blades Prime is easily ten times better. Don't hesitate to get him if you see him!!

i got defender for 2 reasons only: he was clearanced and i just wanted it for the alt mode.

i don't care about "screen accuracy" so much.

The voyager mold was better than the leader for movie 1...

The only version of this mold that I have is the ROTF Voyager version. I like the muted colors and the Chinese characters on it, but that's about it. I prefer the screen accurate Battle Blades one myself.

Aside from the backpack, he's a nice mold. The newer Prime's kinda make him look bad though.

He is a fun toy, had 2 of these molds and 1 (target Robo vision) still MISB since 2007.
