Is it possible, with some trimming and some modding to swap Voyager Bludgeon's head with a G1 Bludgeon's shell head and helmet?

I would suggest trying to use Cybertron Unicron's head. Suits the ROTF Bludgeon much better estheticly.

I think Cyb. Unicron's head would be too small.

Not necessarily. What we need is someone with both figs to take a picture of them side by side.

I know Cybertron Unicron's head is too small. I made a custom, which I have yet to post in the Radicons, of Bludgeon from the mold. I'd agree with REDLINE in that ROTF Bludgeon's head is closer to scale with Alternators.

ROTF Bludgeon is a perfect fig in my opinion. Fits right into my classics and towers over most of them, as he should.

well, I think he makes calssics megs look pedestrian, and onslaught well, I dont know since I never owned the fig. But as far as getting it right, bludgeon gets my vote. Now if they could just make a thunderwing that pays enough homage to the original like they did bludgeon.

The size difference is significant (though the two look good together):

Because it would make ROTF Bludgeon look even more f***in' awesome, plus I think I know where I can get just a shell and helmet on the cheaper side.

I realize many of you like him the way he is, and others think this idea is as crazy as Payton's articulating a Fortress Maximus. However I still would at least like to know if this is possible. Can someone at least answer that for me?

I would think the G1 head would be too big. I have both and haven't put them side by side but the shell head plus helmet are kinda large even for G1 size figure they're on. I'm pretty sure there's pics of both G1 and ROTF side by side in the photo review thread. Could be doable but I think you're be better off finding a different Samurai helmet and Skull head. That's just my opinion though.

Edit: Yep found the pic... I think that'd take way way too much trimming and cutting to make it worthwhile.

Hey Thanks griff, You're right definitely way to much cutting to be worth it. I think If I repaint the helmet to more g1 ish color than the almost brown it is then I'll be happy.
