Are these going to be heavily scalped at retail? Or will we be able to find them relatively easy?

The Supreme Devastator just seems so poorly done, like something from the Beast Machines era. I guess beauty really is in the eye of the beholder...

well given the price point far fewer will be made that deluxes or voyagers, so attempts at scalping is entirely possible but as its only the hard core collectors that normally buy the priced stuff and alot of the oneson herenot caring for it theremaybe a limited market for Devy that said i wonder how long til oneof our resident radicons gives Devy his balls o steel

And I guess Im the other person. Seriously, I think this guy is going to be awesome. I can live with the fact that the individual bots dont transform, Im looking at him as the same deal as Armada Tidal Wave. Sure the colors dont look the best, and the new promo shot is...well, lame, but the early prototype shots looked great to me, and he looks like he has retained all the detail as the proto. I dont know, maybe I am mildly retarded or something, but Im really looking forward to this one.

    This prototype shot?

Just mediocre looking to me. He's definitely one of the uglier figures, and they could have done way better. But I'll get it anyway

I'm getting him. When he goes on sale, that is.

Especially since it turns out the non-transforming limbs is apparently movie accurate.

The prototype pictures definitely look better than the actual toy of Devastator. I will wait for a sale before getting it. It is not movie accurate bec. in the movie you need a minimum of 7 Constructicons (Overload is required). In the movie 9 constructicons or more were used to form devastator. The movie Devastator is flexible and can take more than 7 constructicons and it is not known if there is an upper limit on the number of constructicons that can be used to form Devastator.

well put. funny how we all said it was or is stupid that they don't transform into their own individual robots. turns out that was done on purpose. I will have to see the set in person before I decide on buying it. on sale of course!

It's a heavy price tag, but I intended on getting a majority of ROTF toys. When I saw this guy at Botcon I was stoked. So . . . I'll be getting him eventually :)
