Such a shame these won't be released in Universe packaging over here as that would be the only way I'd buy these sets, ah well.

Because I collect Universe, not movie.:D

edit: Or to be more precise I haven't opened many of the Universe exclusives I've gotten and would pry leave it in packaging because my shelf space is severely limited.

Hmmmm, I seem to have ruffled a few feathers with my dislike of the movie packaging. I'm starting to understand how folks that didn't like the movie or Animated felt, don't you dare think differently.:lol

And just so it's known, I'm kidding.

Its a damn shame we only get new versions of combiners for this movie and not normally, other than the Devestator put out in 07 as Classics and he was crappy. Yeah once again the movie designs have left out hands on the bots. If they came in a gift set I might get them otherwise like all the other movie figures they'll stay on the shelves as I wait for something non-movie to be made.

These aren't movie designs...they're repaints of two of the Energon gestalts, put into Movie packaging for their US release (they've beens old in Universe packaging for release in other countries, I think Australia was one of the countries that got them like that).

...ummm...they are being sold as gift sets...not together, but each team is packaged together, in a gift set.

Hmmm... those pictures look shockingly better than we've ever seen the combiners looking. I'm actually really tempted by both now... and TM2 D-Bot's photos make Superion look EVEN better!

You are not. I've always liked them just fine, personally.

My completionist mentality is wondering if I need a set of these guys for my Universe shelf and another set for my movie shelf. Since they weren't released here in the U.S. under Universe, I think I can justify skipping the Universe release. :lol
