Is it worth it to buy him? I have the first movie Starscream. I know this one has less kibble in Jet mode. Is it worth it to buy over Demolishor?

    I'd buy both.

Starscream is awesome, I love the new mold. The F22 mode is fantastic.

With a leader class mold on the horizon... I'd wait for at least pics of the next mold before upgrading.

I have him right here, he is quite awesome. His cannons are way smaller, plus he has a much more movie-accurate Jet Mode. His robot mode looks fantastic. He is way better then movie one Starscream.

Get him. Get him as fast as you can.

the one coming out in summer/fall of 2010? What if by the time he see's pics there's no more Screamers in the stores? Not to mention that's a long ass wait. But I get what you're saying, wait for pics. But pics might not be out for a long time either.

Personally I have both demolisher and starscream. While I really like demolisher just because he's weird and different, and the wheel engineering is brilliant, Starscream is still a much cooler mold. Except for the obvious hands sticking out the back the F22 mode is spot on awesome, even has landing gear. Decent fold up nosecone landing gear too.

at the end of the day though, it's your dollar. Personally I love Starscream, so my opinion is biased before I even say a word.

I never got him from the first movie, and from what I hear I am glad I didn't.

I bought the ROTF one and have not regretted it one bit. He is an awesome figure!!

So my answer would be yes, he is DEFINATELY worth it!!

actually, for myself, I really prefer the Deep Space version. I bought two of them when they were on sale in Target. The paint job is just well done.

Turns completely inside out during transformation, very cool.

Badass,.....and that guy that got shot in the face, :D .

    See? still biased.

Honestly I do like Demolisher, he's fun but he's simple. Whereas the new Screamer mold corrects the issues of the last mold, while still being a very cool new toy with a much more complex and interesting transformation.

    and of course,......it's Starscream!

Worth it, for sure, due to the unigue Transformation, great bot and alt modes, and lack of kibble.

Speaking as someone who's seen Leader class Starscream at Botcon, if you're only going to get one version of ROTF Starscream, wait. The incredible Leader class toy will more than make up for it.

Meh, I believe it when I see it. So far, the only good leader class toy is Prime imo....and even he, is paint app sparse.

I'd say it depends on which version of Megatron you want to display him with.

If you're going for the Leader, you might want to hold off and get Leader Starscream to go with him. But if you're getting Voyager Megatron, Voyager Starscream looks right next to him.

It's a decent toy but vastly over-rated, IMO. Some of the articulation is wonky (the elbows bend weird), the backpack and shoulders (to some extent) don't lock down securely in robot mode and it feels rather small for a Voyager. I prefer the TF1 Starscream mold to this one...but, granted, I don't care about accuracy of the vehicle mode. Personally, I'd get Demolishor now and just wait and see if the upcoming Leader Starscream is any better.

Well hopefully we should be seeing the leader class version before the end of the month at SDCC.

I bought ROTF screamer straight away, never bought a single movie 1 version because it was really dissapointing in how it looked but the new voyager was a must have for me and I wasn't dissapointed at all.

Since I already have 3 movie prime toys I'll no doubt be buying leader class screamer as well. :lol

the elbows bend normally, it's just the hands being permanently palms down does make it feel odd.

The backpack doesn't clip, you're right, but it gets hugged between his shoulders and pressed into his back and the shoulders hold it in place.

He is smaller then the 07 voyager however.

I don't think he's overrated as much as SS fans are so glad to finally have a much better mold then the one from the first movie.
