My buddy Al digibashed this a couple weeks ago, so with his blessing i went ahead and did it! Krylon Yellow and Green were used. This took a few days, it's one of my fastest projects. I still have a little cleanup to do, and a reprolabels silver Autobot symbol, but aside from that i'm pretty happy with it. Enjoy!
Warriorpriest - yep that's the idea. it's more of a MASK tricked out car mode than a 3rd mode in its own right, but hey for no mods, it's pretty cool. The hood acts as the rudders, the feet and feet bits act as the rear rotor and tail. I-A-M: thanks, if you see Retread around let him know!!
Yeah, and his exhaust pipes look good as little front guns too. I can't say enough what a stroke of genius Retread had with this one. I'm just glad i got to make one!!
That's actually really clever and works in so amny ways, like the fenders being the shoulders, cockpit window, etc.
This is so far out of the box, it's not even funny!!!! It really works, I hope you get those rotors working aswell, amazing job!
Thanks, guys. I'm not going to make the rotors functional - the idea was a modless copter mode, and the way those blades work, they either both move away from each other or towards each other. Again - if you see Retread around, give him a high five! It certainly has opened my eyes to finding new modless modes on figures.
