    He's.... here....

After 2 days of applying silver and Metallic blue, here is Soundwave. Seeing as we only saw him in Satellite mode in the movie, i decided to make him a shiny satellite!

I originally planned to make him a G1 repaint, but with me making my ROTF figures movie-accurate, i decided to do a blend of both (hence the blue arms)

Unfortunatley, by painting this guy, i ran out of silver. So that means, i can't do customs for a few days until i get more (due to the majority of my ideas relying on silver.) So enjoy him, while I take a break from customs for a few days (most likely, i'll get paint on Monday :D )

Can't really see how you painted him because the pics are blurry. A camera with a macro setting and a proper light tent setup would help a lot :)

Thanks! Yeah, it takes a lot of time

Uploaded new pics, but i think the reason it is blurry is because of how shiny the paint is.

They're a little better, but I think that the lighting is too bright (did you use a flash? - you're not supposed to) and some of them are just plain out of focus.

What type of paint did you use for this guy? I'm planning a custom and this silver is the exact color I was looking for

I used an Acrylic silver. the type takes about two hours to dry, but you need to apply like 2-3 layers.
