I didn't do much to this guy, just painted his robot parts gumetal gray, his maroon parts red, and panel lined him. I also removed the springs in his feet, and tightened them, so there is the option of opening and closing the feet.

    Don't forget to C&C!!!!!

man, I just saw this guy in person today for the first time...almost bought him....You did some good work on him. Spring feet?!! Like the fallen?!!! Glad you got rid of those....hahah...

You appear to be taking more time on the paint apps, or have just learned better control because I can see a HUGE improvement in your work..

Now, I would suggest going to walmart, buying a small $6.00 tripod and learning how to take some great pictures to capture your work better:)

I agree as well. I don't have a tripod though but i do have a steady hand so my pics turn out good. I hunt so i got to have a steady hand. Also, taking pictures also has to do with the breathing. Again, i hunt so learning how to breathe means the difference whether having food on the table or not. So yeah, just keep practicing, and you might want to get a tripod.

Awsome job. I know this may sound stoopid but how did you accomplish the removal and strengthening of the feet?

GET HIM! He is an awesome little scout figure. And I don't normally get those. Good idea with the feet. I didn't think of removing the springs. Why Hasbro thinks that's a good idea, who knows.

what I did was take some small cutters, and cut the spring to pull them out. Then I used Super glue on his feet, but kept opening them and closing them until the glued dried.

    Thanks for liking it guys!!!

Good find. Instead of waiting for the next one, why not go back and update your previous threads with new pictures?

Great job with the feet change, as well as just painting those parts!
