Which of the two do u like better?

I like Skids' look a bit better, but the figure I got has trouble standing because of loose leg joints. I end up rotating the leg kibble down to give him extra "legs" in order to stand.

Surprisingly, Mudflap stands just fine despite the backpack. His joints are tighter. (I've seen ppl say the opposite about the two). At the very least, MF's feet are larger. What I don't like about MF the most are the "mustache" in his chest. It gets in the way of the arms.

I basically feel the same way. My Tuner Skids had loose knees and his legs have less articulation overall than Mudflap's. Mudflap's limbs, in general, have more range of motion, so he's the easier robot to play with, even if he's the weirder looking one.

Mudflap, pretty much for the above reasons. Skids is loose and floppy in comparison, and Mudflap can stand more easily.

I think in both ROTF and DOTM incarnations, Mudflap is the superior figure.

Including the Human Alliance. Although in that case, just barely. HA Skids is a pretty damned good figure too.

I repainted the bot modes to both figures. Even though it's not accurate I even gave Skids Mudflap feet because I hated how tiny his feet were. Looks much better. Both are cool for me.

I like both because their mold is awesome but too bad they are being omitted from the DOTM movie

Skids. Despite his flaws. I also position his leg kibble to help him stand. Mudflap may be a better engineered figure, but Skids is my favourite nonetheless. Mostly (if not wholly) due to his aesthetics. Mind you, my Skids has been modded.

To me, Skids was much easier, and I had a difficult time transforming Mudflap.

I prefer ROTF Mudflap over Skids. He's more pleasing to the eyes...

The front windshield part that needs to go above the roof drives me crazy. Is there a trick to doing it? If moving it above the roof into robot mode is hard. Moving it back into position for car mode is even harder

Mudflap: Better joints, good gimmick, less annoying and more expressive kibble. Dull car mode.
Skids: Better looking car mode but horrible gimmick and bad leg kibble pretty much kills it for me.

Well they are twins, so if you get one, you probably have to get the other one. Ironically i got Mudflap for free and had to pay full retail price for Skids :)

Yeah, practice. The more you do it the less scary it becomes. Or you could try shaving the outer panels' front ever so slightly.

I'm not all that much into their Deluxe toys, (I missed out on the ice cream truck of apparently pink awesomeness:cry ) but I LOVE their HA toys. I think Mudflap just edges out over Skids here, mostly with how the eyes are painted in since Hasbro knew the translucent plastic used was much too dark to work. The bike that came with him is a slightly better pile of junk than the one with Skids too.

But really, IMO, if you get one you need to get the other one too. (of course, the ice cream truck takes care of that)

Skids, even with the non-working MechAlive and floppy knees. Mudflap was ok, but too finnicky.

Ah dammit. I chipped the window on both front door panels of Skids. It's all the fidgeting to get the pieces to fit together. The windows on the legs kept folding in and finally a small piece on each side fell off.

I haven't even tried tf'ing mudflap back into car mode yet...

Mudflap does not require you to hold your breath and cross your fingers every time you transform the windshield mind.

I quite like them both though.

    mudflap.

    ...

suddenly thinking about how wonderful the designs are, bar the heads. could've been great additions to the rotf cast had the characters been tweaked a little.
