This should go in toy discussion.

I have the same problem. It's because the arms in the car are to far down, and they touch flat surfaces. This interferes with the wheels, which , if they were a little farther down, this problem would not happen.

Still, he has an awesome alt mode.

I have two, one of each varient. Silver Sideways is a nightmare to stand, but darker Sideways has no problems. Weird.

Do you have his arms locked under the car properly? There's tabs on the arms that lock into his "spine". If done properly, there should be a decent ground clearance in car mode.

I've found most of the RotF cars can go into vehicle mode easily, but to do it correctly, you've got to do things like folding the limbs back on themselves slightly with double jointed knees / arms.

Sideways hasn't given me any real trouble - but I've not played about with him as much as the twins or Sideswipe yet.

I have problems getting all of the wheels to roll together. It is because the rear wheels are a bitch to line up straight. I have fiddled with it since may and still never gotten him to roll right. Sideswipe also has problems getting all the wheels to turn.
