Pretty much painted Sideways and fakebusker83's Scolex Spiker silver with a black base coat to look more like the CGI pics I found. In car mode I painted the lower rear and chromed the tailpipes. I also chromed the wheels, including the "fake" one on his left arm. The Reprolabel set is applied.
I was surprised Sideways' right hand could support a 5mm peg! I also included a pic of are all of my painted fakebusker83 accessories: DotM Stascream weapons, Scolex Spiker, and Shockwave hose.

    LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE
The spiker fits really well with Sideways! Which made me really glad as SW's my favourite movie character...I'm shocked/surprised that his hand is a 5mm LOL

Well done H...I feel really happy looking at the pictures. :3

Edit: To bad the mold doesn't have mechtech ports...

Yeah, I just happened to be painting my Sideways when my Shapeways shipment arrived. I figured I'd paint your spiker, too, then just rubberband it onto Sideways. Then first I figured I'd just try to slide it in and presto!
I'm awfully tempted to get more of these darlings with my next order now for Barricade and Crankcase :)

    Dude, awesome job!

When you mentioned 5mm hole, I thought you meant the hole where the fake tire is screwed in. I've been trying to figure out a way to utilize that hole but it's a shade or so too small. But when I saw the closeup of yours, I realized you meant the hand can grasp something 5mm. Sweet. You saved me from wrecking my Dead End and Sideways as I really wanted them to have a weapon. Thanx.

    That is nice!

If I may make a humble suggestion:

Do you suppose you can mod the gun and Sideways to store the weapon in vehicle mode? I've noticed in his vehicle mode there happens to be a space between the legs that could perhaps accommodate the Spiker.

Hmmm... I could try seeing if it would fit. I don't think I'll mod anything, though. I just pass the weapon off to another 'Con (right now Soundwave's wielding it) or put it in my accessory box...

Nope, but they're available in different materials, I believe. I just ordered them in soft white flexible. You can click on the link in my first post for more details...
