I KNOW this may be old news to some, so please don't bother telling me it is. : ) I've seen many pics of him where this feature was not taken advantage of, so I'm posting for those to find easily.

This isn't a mod, just something that isn't shown in the instructions, but is a cool hidden feature. It lowers the Deadend's / Sideways' backback to neck level, which allows the light piping to work better too!

The hood corners are hinges. Flip them up.

Then you can peg the backpack on the lower pegs.

    Dead END RESULT

    Enjoy! Thanks for watching.

Does anyone else have a problem with sideways? Whenever i take him back from robot mode to car mode, he is always...well... sideways....
His right front tire and left rear tire are kind of crooked and wont be able to touch the ground at the same time. Therefore, i have to kind of twist the whole car a bit to get to be able to hit the ground and roll properly. Sound familiar to anyone??

i thought this is something i had missed too, coz i usually miss a lot of stuff like this :D  but no, this is how i had it before.. sad, coz i still dont like sideways that much.. i mean, is it just me who finds it almost impossible to get him to stand straight, with that backpack n tiny feet?

Yeah, took me a few transforms to find this, too.

Sometimes the most obvious things can be hidden, after all.

    RID

After all, they are "Robots in Disguise." Sometimes their disguises are just really really good. LOL

    YUP!

YUP! I have Dead End, my friend has Sideways, and both of them are funky with the wheels. Same here, gotta twist em a bit, or pull the high wheel down some in the back to get him flat, even then, he likes to gradually pull back up.
    You're not the only one.

Crap! I left my Sideways and Dead End in my office, and I'm working from home today. Can't wait till I get back tomorrow; I seriously did not even know about the hinges!
