    Hey,

My ROTF Optimus Prime was looking for some new troops to lead, and sideswipe seemed like a worthy choice. All in all, he's awesome. But for some reason, the peg that attaches his chest to his torso don't seem to stay together, it always falls out, is this a regular problem, or is Swipey(the figures nickname, and what you should refer to him as.) defect?

I have a weird problem on mine that even though it sometimes separates, usully it is so locked that it WON'T come apart. I just fiddle his backpack around a bit, I can't really give any indepth details.

Mine has the same problem and I think it is a comman problem. I don't have that issue with my Swerve figure so I think they addressed it in later runs.

Yup same on mine. And in vehicle mode the front part that connects the lights don't stay together either but I think it may have something to do with how I'm transforming him.

I think there must have been a running change with the sideswipe mold. The first one i bought, the chest wouldn't stay together, but when i bought a replacement 2 months later, the chest stays together so well that i am worried about breaking it while I transform it.

Mine has the same problem. However, I do think they fixed it with Swerve.

put your hand around his mid-section. fingers on the roof of the card on his back, thumb on his stomach, and squeeze lightly. you should just barely feel the pieces move. but they will, and it will lock the pieces together more securely. (what you actually did was push the roof closer to the body, so it's in the way of the midsection falling out)
