I am from Arkansas, home of Wal-Mart and more importantly, last in education and about the most backwards hick-ass hillbilly place I have ever encountered.

The rest of this site, especially the mods, are a fairly well spoken, verbose, and educated group. Yes, even Twin Twist.

Technically, Walmart is correct. They recently changed their logo and combined it into one word. Although, in the Walmart chant, it is Wal~Mart, so it's whatever. Also, if you try to scan something and take something else, you are paying for it, so it is morally okay, but it will upset the counts and will likely end up with the store not ordering more because the system thinks that they still have some.

 

No the subtle problem I have is lost on some of you and it has nothing to do with a hyphen.

The front page story and the author, but manly the front page says these were spotted at his local "Walmarts".

In Arkansas, we use the term as "Hey Ma, I'm goin' to WalMarts. Need any Skoal?" We might also say "Naw, I went to the Krogers an' got me some more beers, I'm good".

It is improperly given a plural when it is infact, one store, Wal-Mart or Kroger.

So you are going to leave "Internets" as your location instead of just "Internet"?

So Depthcharge and Ransack are not part of Wave 1 as I thought. Scratch 2 more figures off my list of things to look for on May 30.

 

It may be a vernacular (sp??) thing but it is possible that the author saw them at multiple Wal-Mart locations in which case the plural Walmarts would be okay. There are some larger cities with more than one Walmart. Heck, when I am on travel to El Paso, TX I think there are three in El Paso I will check out for stuff. Actually I think two are like a mile apart.

 

My thoughts exactly. I am only really interested in these (not even 100% on Depthcharge), and "The Doctor" thus far of the Scouts. Atleast this saves me a little bit of coin. The 30th is gonna still feel like Christmas all over again. Hopefully some places will atleast be stocking Wave 2 Deluxes. I don't know if I am gonna be able to get quite enough to hit Transformers Overload.

i understand what your saying but i call them Wallys or Wallys world - most people do especially on Deal boards....Wal-Mart or Walmart they are all the same as KFC was changed from Kentucky Fried Chicken...we still call them KFC even before the name change.....

ok im in WA state and i have seen the scouts, voyagers, deluxes and leaders at all my area walmarts 24hrs and not regular hours on the palletts. I swear they were like 10-20 cases of them. So im sure all wallys will have enough for everyone....

As kusanagi mention he was with me and i was able to get him a starscream and i got all of wave 1 leaders, wave 1 voyagers and wave 1 scouts. it just takes a little effort.

 

Nevermind. My attempt at humor was lost in a serious discusion/reply cycle.

They have made it to Arkansas too, our Walmarts here in town are clearing the shelf space and bringing out massive pallets. I didn't stick around to see the end result.

Dude! How did you get him? Did you do this "cheating" thing like everyone says? Or did you just buy him normally? Also, the people awho are buying them, are you taking them out of the box? Or are they on the shelves?

Yeah My walmart got two cases of the scouts this morning. We did'nt open them because of the street date. But the count is 12 per box. So 3 each rollbar, knockout, dead end, and dirt boss I think is this first assortment.

They can not be two per case unless ransack and depthcharge are in wave one as well. Which he is'nt.


Good to see them. I'm considering troop building dead end and knock out.
